The University of Missouri runs an excellent service called Community Connection that can help you connect with online websites for Taney county related services such as schools, government offices, and companies. Actually, this service supports the entire state including options to look by county or by region. When I added this link, the Taney county search returned 79 different websites that could be of interest and value to genealogists, visitors to Taney, and residents as well. Just select the "County" radio button and choose Taney from the drop down list. Then either press search or first narrow your search using keywords or topics. I think you will like this resource, found at http://www.communityconnection.org/ccver2/index.jsp. |
